Sunday Steals #7 and a Beautiful Blogger Award

Today is your last day to enter, so don't forget to enter my coconut oil giveaway! The winner will be selected tomorrow and will have 24 hours to email me his/her shipping info, so that he/she can get his/her coconut oil ASAP.

Ugh, pronouns. :P

Anyway, here are this week's Sunday Steals!

Xhilaration Green Wallet for $4.54 ($12.99) @ Target

I can't be the only one who always has to check the spelling of Xhilaration - right?

LC Lauren Conrad Gladiator Sandals for $16.49 (54.99) @ Kohl's

I may be mildly addicted to sandals. They're just so cute!

Silver Jeans Co. 'Gwen' Relaxed Fit Chinos for $34.97 ($82.00) @ Nordstrom rack

Though they're the most expensive item in this week's Sunday Steals, I really like the pocket detailing and the cut of these pants - besides, $34.97 is perfectly acceptable to spend on a good pair of Chinos for school/work! And I like how Nordstrom has free shipping :)

FP ONE Smocked Printed Mini for $19.95 ($78.00) @ Free People

While Free People prices can be pretty obscene regularly, they're actually one of my top choices for sales rack perusing - they really put great things on sale and discount them hugely!

ASOS Googley Eye Clutch for $10.22 (34.06) @ ASOS

Come on, admit it - it's cute!

Okay, now one more thing before I conclude this post - Angela was so sweet as to nominate me for the Beautiful Blogger Award! Thanks, Angela!

Rules for the “Beautiful Blogger Award” are:
1. Copy the Beautiful Blogger Award logo and place it in your post.
2. Thank the person who nominated you, and link back to their blog.
3. Tell six things about yourself.
4. Nominate six other bloggers for their own Beautiful Blogger Award (and let them know you have done so).
6 things you may not know about me are:

1) Whenever readers leave a comment, or send an email, saying how they enjoy my blog it really makes my day. I'm sorry that I don't have much time right now to return the favor on your blogs, but you guys are the best!

2) I may be moving off-campus (and off-meal plan!) after all this semester...wish me luck!!! That'd be great for the blog, too, as that would mean I'd cook more, make up more recipes, eat out more, and have more fun food pics for y'all from around Cambridge/Boston/Harvard Square :)

3) I have two cats at home, Luna and Tinker, but I may be getting one in the next year or so just for myself at school...I love cats!

4) I have an odd (and not super sophisticatedsense of humor

5) I love writing books/stories. But if you've been reading this for a while, you know that.

6) I was bullied a lot in high school (actually, middle school too) and have never actually been Miss Popularity...I'm nerdy and dorky, a little strange looking and a little eccentric. But I guess that's why my friends and family love me - and I'm just not everyone's cup of tea! I'm like chamomile. I grow on people and have never not made friends with someone who I've spent a lot of time with. :P

Okay, on to the nominating part! I kind of want to nominate all of y'all for the award, but that's such a lame-o easy way out. So instead I'll nominate the first six that come to mind and hope that the award will trickle along. These six ladies are all beautiful, in and out - I hope you check out their blogs!

1) A New Start Today - She reached out to me lately and she's really trying to turn her life around and take control. Go Leelu!

2) Amazing Asset - She's always pushing herself to live a fuller life and face her demons, she's a great inspiration for a ton of girls, and she's a smart chica.

3) Celery and Cupcakes - She always has yummy eats and fabulous outfits. She also tries to keep it sane and she's British, so I get to read her blog in a British accent (anyone else do that?) in my head.

4) Go Bake Yourself - She's an amazing baker and really shows what a teen can do when she sets her mind to it. You go girl! Plus, there's the whole Australian accent thing (see above)...

5) Courtneyem - Her style. Check it out. 'Nuff said. Oh, AND she's a great writer (congrats to her for just having an article featured on the USA Today College website!)

6) FueledByLolz - She's an athlete because she's truly dedicated to her sport, not because she's exercise addicted or trying to make her body look a certain way. I'm not huge on sports, but she'd be such a role model if I were :)
