Turkey Sausage Patties (C1)

1 lb lean ground turkey
½ tsp cumin
½ tsp cayenne pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp oregano
½ tsp basil
½ cup sodium-free chicken broth
Combine turkey and dry spices in large bowl and mix together thoroughly. Add chicken broth, mixing well and let stand 15-20 minutes.
Form into 8 patties about ¾ inch thick
Cook patties in non stick skillet over med heat 7-8 min on each side until done thoroughly.
For a different flavor, try:
For Hot and Zesty – Add 1 tsp chili powder, ½ tsp cayenne pepper, & 3 tbsp tomato paste
For Italian – Add ½ tsp marjoram, ½ tsp coriander, and ½ tsp rosemary
