The Snarky Stylist Steps in (again)!

It's Style Over time again!

This week I'm styling over the stunning Hollie of Fueled by Lolz.

Isn't she gorgeous? Stunning eyes, we're definitely going to have to bring those out with some of these looks - half of being stylish is finding styles that bring the focus to the parts of you that you love the best!

Hollis is daring in fashion and not afraid to push any boundaries with her clothes - crazy prints and flowy fabrics are her favorites!

Taken from fueledbylolz.com

Since I'm already in love with her style, this is less of a style over and more of a style addition. Instead of changing anything, I'm just suggesting some looks that this 5'7" stunner would look ridiculously amazing in.

It's fun to get to style someone as daring as Hollie! Prints are all the rage at the moment and the key is to wear them right.

If you're going to big, bold colors in a daring print, like in the halter dress above, you want to make sure that you don't go overboard with accessories. Stick to neutral colors for your heels and shades (safe sun is always in style!). Neutral doesn't mean boring, however - note the great stud detailing on these Gucci wedges (which Charlotte Russe is sure to have a $30 version of soon, so no stress about that Gucci price tag).

The shape of the dress is great for tall, slim, athletic girls like Hollie, because it draws attention to the waist with its structured top and creates an hour glass with the fuller, flowing skirt. The skirt has plenty of movement, perfect for frolicking the summer, and the handkerchief hem is tres chic.

Just make sure you get a skirt that isn't too long for your frame - you don't want it to dwarf you!

Since part of the appeal of this halter dress is the flow and the movement, you don't want to drag the lightness of the look down with a big bag. If you must have something to keep your keys/cell/cash/lipgloss in and you don't have a guy to hold it for you (yes, I'm in favor of making men carry our purses) stick with a simple small clutch.

As is often the case with halter dresses, you'll want to wear your hair up. To keep the look light, go for something fun (like this braided updo) rather than a severe ballerina bun.

With legs like Hollie's, there's no way a post like this would be complete without a shorts/skirt look of some kind to show them off. Since I already have two dress looks for this post (what can I say? Hollie can work a dress) I'm going to stick with shorts for this next look.

While Hollie definitely has the legs to pull off itty-bitty shorts, she's a young professional now and itty-bitty cut-offs aren't exactly in line with projecting that I've-got-it-all-together yuppie look. These shorts are still short, but the more structured shape, sturdier fabric, and clean hem give them a very different vibe. But they're definitely still a lot of fun with their daring color and fabric!

The metallic flats are both cute and comfortable, perfect for a long day on your feet - whether it's taking in the sites or shopping.

I think we all know which one I prefer...

Tuck in the blouse in loosely to pull of this look best. And since the outfit itself isn't too crazy, we can have some fun with the accessories!

Isn't that bracelet too cute?

Again, stick with fresh, natural make up for this look. As for hair, it's up to you - an updo, hair down, or a half-and-half look will all work!

Look 3:
Vavavoom

Hollie's a gorgeous young woman and in a vavavoom ensemble like this, she'll never again have to wait in another line or buy another drink when she goes out (assuming that she's ever done either of those things).

In this look, it's all about the details that bring the edge - the silver detailing that turn the plain LBD into a stunner, the unusually placed zipper on the heel that catches attention.

Again, I apply the less-is-more approach to any outfit this daring and suggest pairing it with just two accessories, not the whole shebang. I chose to pair it with one of those great big over-the-knuckle rings that are so trendy and a pair of long earrings.

A smoky eye (to play up her stunning eyes!) and a dramatic look work well with this look. I would also suggest wearing her hair down, and maybe wavy (if it will hold a wave).

Which of the three looks is your favorite?

Are you daring with fashion?

What's your favorite part of your body?
