I LOVE English Muffins. I also really like sprouted bread, so sprouted bread + english muffin =
Food for Life makes organic, sprouted, whole grain foods. Their products vary from tortillas, to cereals, to pastas, to bread, to English muffins, to rolls and tortillas - but when I got a coupon for a Food for Life product, there was only one obvious choice.
If you don't want to thaw them the long way, you can stick them in the microwave for a minute or (as I did) in the toaster.
I ate half with just peanut butter, enjoying the grainy heartiness that only sprouted grain English muffins have - regular English muffins just can' compare.
Then with the other half...
Peanut butter, drizzled with honey, topped with cacao nibs! It's a great combo on the hearty bread and even better when, post photo session, a big handful of carob chips joined the party.
English muffins are just so fun because they soak up toppings and are so fun to have as a snack, or part of a yummy breakfast or lunch.
Oh, wait - I do have a photo of another half of an English muffin that I had (because the combo is so delicious that I just had to have more). The carob chips sort of all melted together into chunks...
But they still tasted pretty darn awesome :)
