Trendy Tuesday #6 - featuring a fashionable food blogger!

Before I get to the post, congratulations to Ed Nemmers, my Soyummi dairy-free pudding giveaway winner!

Continuing with the ice cream theme, but the dairy version this time, I finally tried the Talenti Gelato that's been tempting me from the freezer section of Whole Foods for who knows how long!

I got some coupons in the mail (gotta love coupons!) and decided to try these three flavors - Caramel Cookie Crunch, Chocolate Chip (stracciatella), and Raspberry Sorbet (which is vegan, in case you are).

I was pleasantly surprised by how easy to scoop all three were (even the sorbet), as I'd been expecting them to be hard. They were softer than ice cream, though, and creamier - like the gelato in Germany! I had absolutely no trouble scooping out some pretty scoops of each and the flavors were really intense - especially the super-fruity raspberry!

Above is my bowl of raspberry sorbet and caramel cookie crunch gelato, enjoyed while perusing the internet for fashion inspiration (see the below). I love how Talenti makes really flavorful, creamy, and satisfying gelato out of simple ingredients - and even though the raspberry was a really intense color, that's from the raspberries. There's no food coloring! And yes, raspberries are the first ingredient in the sorbet :)

The caramel cookie crunch was my favorite, though - the caramel was so decadent, the base so creamy and rich, and the cookie bits just perfect. Yum, yum, YUM. Talenti Gelato definitely fits under my definition of healthy food, because it's all good, simple, natural stuff. They don't fill their products with chemicals, unnatural food dyes, or freaky additives. And then they are SO AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS. Two thumbs up!

Okay, so let's move on to the fashion portion of this food-and-fashion post.

I really like seeing looks that regular people put together, but I think it's especially fun when a primarily food/lifestyle (not fashion) blogger pulls together such an adorable outfit that I can't help but include her in my Trend Tuesday post!

Congratulations to Keeping Healthy Getting Stylish's Laura for looking absolutely fab!

The post even comes with a side of WIAW, for those of you who are more interested in the tasty raw cake she had for breakfast than her crazy awesome shoes.

But seriously. Check. Those. Out. WANT.

I also like this next pulled together fall look a lot. You know what they say about orange.

In case it's still hot wherever you are (or you just want to hang onto the last shreds of summer), there's this look.

Cailin's Rufino

Or you can just make yourself smile with fuchsia. Works like a charm ;)

The next look is just so fabulously put together - a total win.

Which outfit is your favorite?

If you could have one television show's wardrobe department as your closet, which one would it be?

What color is your go-to bag?
